Here we have a VHS movie titled "Roots of Evil". The movie has been tested, and it works great, but we did notice a few black lines, which is common for VHS movies. It comes in a plastic case with the box sleeve artwork inside. This is the unrated version.
Murder, betrayal and lust are the motives for this story of sexual obsession, which lead detective Jake Osborne (Alex Cord), and his beautiful partner, Brenda Murphy (Jillian Kesner) on a harrowing chase through the mean streets of Los Angeles.
Assigned to track a vicious serial killer, they wind their way through the brutal underworld of gangsters, call girls and sleazy characters who uncover new evidence for them. What a powerful drug lord is gunned down in his Palatial mansion, they are also assigned to find his maniac killer. The danger becomes almost unsurmountable as they attack every clue which leads them closer to the killer.
This hard-hitting, suspenseful erotic thriller delivers a shocking and dramatic climax.
The movie is unrated, and is 95 minutes long.
