Here we have a vhs movie titled "The Thrill of it All" starring Doris Day, and James Garner. The movie has been tested, and it played very well with no problems. The box sleeve is in excellent condition with normal signs of wear.
Doris Day and James Garner star in this irresistible romantic comedy that pokes fun at the shaky world of advertising and television commercials, which Box Office hails as "a laugh fest from beginning to end".
Garner is a successful obstetrician whose lovely wife cares for the home and their two children. But their calm suburban existence is soon challenged when she is offered an $80,000 contract to be the new spokesperson for "Happy Soap" as her career begins to demand more and more of her time, Garner becomes increasingly irritated by the fact that when the family does get to see her, it’s on television!
Directed by Norman Jewison with a screenplay by funnyman Carl Reiner, The thrill of it All! "boasts comedy highlights galore" (motion picture herald), including Arlene Francis giving birth in the back of a Rolls Royce and Garner accidentally driving his car into the backyard pool.
The movie is not rated, and is 1 hour 48 minutes long.
