Join the loveable wiseacre Bob Hope as he bellies up to the bar with Jane Russell, Roy Rogers and Trigger in Son Of Paleface, a zany western that’s sure to stir up laughs! When Junior (Hope), a recent Harvard graduate, heads west to claim a whopping inheritance of gold - he runs into a whole frontier of trouble. After discovering that his stash has been stolen by the neighborhood bandit, Junior joins forces with sure-shooter, songbird Roy Rogers to snag the thief. The bumbling Junior is soon hot on the trail of prime suspect Mike (Russell), a gorgeous showgirl who runs the Dirty Shame saloon. After a side-splitting, shoot-em-up chase scene, a happy Junior gets the girl and the gold while Roy, naturally, winds up with Trigger. With a lively score by Lyn Murray, Son of Paleface features the Academy Award-nominated (Best Song, 1952) "Am I in Love?" and a reprise of "Buttons and Bows" the Academy Award-winning song (1948) from the "Paleface".
